C.B.A. Basketball Skill Development is a comprehensive basketball skills training service geared toward the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the individual, as well as team basketball skill sets of all levels. Founded in 2012, C.B.A.’s genesis was unexpected, but it has materialized into a valued entity in the Northern Utah basketball community.

PRIVATE TRAINING (1 ON1)
Guaranteed one on one personal training sessions for the individual who desires or needs a one on one undivided level of attention. Aside from numerically, the structuring of these sessions is identical to individual training in the catering to the needs of the individual.

 
INDIVIDUAL TRAINING (1-3 players per session)
Individual training sessions are a benefit to all athletes, regardless of gender, from beginner to advanced levels looking to improve their skill set. Each training session is specially considered and constructed for the advancement of the participating athletes. Sessions are 60 minutes and focus directly on the building and development of mechanics and fundamentals needed to flourish within the sport. By keeping the number of athletes per private/individual session between one and three, step by step instruction at a pace suited to the individuals needs is easier to maintain. This allows for addressing any deficiencies and or areas of concern for the trainees aggressively and thoroughly.

GROUP TRAINING
( MINIMUM 4, MAXIMUM 10)
These 90 min sessions are high repetition high intensity workouts, designed to enhance and reinforce established skill set in a competitive group setting.  Maintaining small to medium sized groups, ensures a minimal reduction in the player coach attention level that differs from individual training sessions. This does slightly alter the composition of the workouts, but doesn’t impact effectiveness. Maximum effort to group participants with others of similar skill level, NOT AGE, is always put forth.

TEAM TRAINING (MAX 12 PLAYERS)
Team training is approached with a much more comprehensive structuring than any other service offered. These sessions consist of team related drills and exercises that focus less on the individual skill development of each player, and more on team building and developing the ability to work within a unit. Learning and understanding all aspects of the game, from the importance of communication, rebounding, and team defense are a few of the objectives set to be developed and mastered in this setting.
